I have have retired. I have started a new journey. I pushed the button and now I am a Content Creator on YouTube. For the first time in many years I feel that I have added value to my life. My voice is heard. I’m no longer invisible. I’m no longer under surveillance.
I stop writing. I needed to heal. This journey with this Brick and Mortar company was 19 years of my life. I enjoyed some of the people but it had reach the point you could not develop friends and relationship. Why? The Behemoth Company thought you were trying to form a union. Yep! Under surveillance.
The greatest frustration was seeing the employees works so hard. Employees remained on government assistance, applied for food stamps and W.I.C. Watching the hurt, pain, and shame in the employees eyes was devastating to my mental, physical, and spiritual health. I listened to the stories of how employees felt they would never get ahead. All I could think about was it had to be a better way.
The majority of the employees felt they were constantly monitored. Of course once again, under surveillance. The employees began to talk in a whisper. Many of the employees stood outside to talk on their breaks. I begin to notice the cashier at the registers were constantly looking up at the ball up above their register. Under surveillance again.
I took notes. I began to blog my thought’s. What could I do? Here it is l1 years later and I see a clear cut path to help the employees move forward to platforms that will help them earn passive income and build their own business.
I’m sharing this video. You tell me what you think? No longer should the employees be under surveillance. Today many platforms exist for the employees to become Leaders instead of Bosses.

Where is the window? I need some fresh air. I can’t breathe in this filthy room. Buildings had tilted windows and push out windows many years ago. What happened? My nausea and headache would probably go away. I haven’t heard one person ask any questions about windows in relationship to COVID-19. Is it close to 7:00 am? When I step outside this building I will not take my fresh air for granted. Fresh Air.

Reverse the airflow and no Fresh Air. What happens when you have these health conditions or everyone begins to look like they have these medical conditions? COVID-19 is knocking at the door trying to get in. Whew! I have a lot of concerns. I keep hearing the word second wave. I’m not hearing the word mutation. At some point in time, COVID-19 will touch every human host on the planet. It is learning the different DNAs of all different races. Dr. Fauci are you there? I was in the cash office during the night preparing money to be placed in the Self-Check machines for the next day. My hand was scan by the machine. This room was small. I found it hard to breathe. Dirt and dust filled the room. The floor was filthy. Where is the mop? The money recycler was kept in this room. At the start of my shift, the recycler had run its course. Managers were constantly called to the cash office to fix the machine. When the machine was open dust and debris flew everywhere. My shift was 10:00 pm-7:00 am. I knew it would be a long night. The money recycler felt as though I was in an airplane at 30,000 feet. A passenger coughs in a compressed air chamber. Oh hell no! There is no escape. Recycled air is dangerously contaminated. It felt as though I was clocking into death Monday-Friday. Pure anxiety! I’ve written stories in this blog about Walmart Home Office controlling the airflow. Thinking about the HVAC (heating and cooling system) made my hair stand on my head. Okay, my wig. Hey, I ain’t gonna lie. I worried about pollutants, contaminates, and pathways. I was constantly staring up at the vents in the lady’s restroom. I’m bothered by the fact no one has mentioned about windows. I drove around. I couldn’t find buildings with windows or push out windows. The choice for central air and heating may not be the best option with a virus attacking one’s respiratory system. It’s cheaper for our society to pay less for central gas and air. Whew! I will leave it there.
I thought I was going to die at the self-checkout night after night. Only one cashier and I were scheduled in the front end the majority of the time. It was brutal changing out the 8 self-checks. The money cart was so heavy to push. Walmart was always thinking of ways to break down the older associates. Yeah, Joe and Mika, just get rid of the most vulnerable, old people. There were no Asset Protection at night. Walmart removed the First Responders from the store many years ago. I can think of at least 30 First Responders off the top of my head who checked on me through the night. I want to give a special shout out to KCPD, North, South, East Patrol, Platte County Sherrif Department including Shoal Creek. I want to thank each and every one of the First Responders, The Brew Top Crew, doctors, nurses, EMTs from St. Luke, and North Kansas City Hospital for showing great concern. There is a big difference between social distance and isolation. I felt totally isolated so many nights. You thought I had Ebola.
I knew I would either get rob or killed for having all that money out on the floor. I hated we were next to the airport. Every person stepping off the plane from all over the world could bring a virus from another country. It would tear my body to shreds if the cash office didn’t kill me first. All the carts collected around the store were full of returns. Clothes, toys, chemicals, meats, dairy products, all food items dumped into one basket. Returns were to be separated in customer services.
The returns were separated and returned to the floor. Bacteria on top of Bacteria. Food claims sat right on the side of the service desk next to the cash office on the floor. Spoiled frozen foods, vegetables, dairy products, and meats reeked of the foulest odor. On the grocery side, it was unbelievable. I’ll put it like this, the stench was so bad from all the grocery food claims Deffenbaugh trash trucks probably would refuse to pick up Walmart’s garbage. Hey Katy, are you still alive back there. Katy has worked many years back in the grocery receiving area. I tip my hat to Katy. I can’t believe she has survived all these years. Thank God! Katy is not old. Kiss the kids for me, Katy.
Number 44 (former President Barack Obama), Bill and Melinda Gates, I desperately need your help. On March 13th, CEO Doug McMillon was the first one to hop on the stage and rubber stamp the man’s name I can no longer speak of. There is NO TRUTH in a Rubber Stamp NO REALITY. Walmart employees need to change the landscape of their silence. Employees’ lives are on the line. Calling Walmart’s Ethics Hotline just won’t cut it. CEO Doug McMillon missed several opportunities with Walmart employees. Work retention is inevitable. Walmarts world is not an inclusive environment for employee’s voices to be heard. Walmart’s signature is No One Will Exceed Expectation. Walmart’s behavior only instills a lack of the following: trust, loyalty, recognition, low morale of the associates, and poor management/mismanagement. Walmart and CEO Doug McMillon:

Giving the associates $3oo is not a reward but an insult, VP Dan Barlett of Walmart. I just want CNN Bussiness to know the Facts. I did read the article Enough is Enough, Growth, and Development, Walmart’s Declining Profitability. Bottom line, Sell Walmart. It is not the associate’s civic duty to DIE for a company that keeps the employees in the dark. This was the Thank You Reward for store 2857 associates who worked and risk their lives through COVID-19. Where are the true incentives? Walmart employees all over the world put their lives on the line for this company. Walmart sent the message to these exhausted associates that they are Expendable.
Macy, Dillards, and many stores went on furlough. Lowes gave their associates an extra $2 for hazard pay. Frito-Lay, owned by Pepsico, pay their associates an extra $20 a day, pay associates to stay home, $100 a day to watch your kids, and a $1.00 raise. Dick’s Sporting paid their associates 3 weeks’ and the associates went on furlough. Unlike Walmart and Ceo Doug McMillon, out in front of the camera every day telling and sell lies. The company gives 11cent raises no higher than 35 cents. Walmart is a company that evaluates their associates before changing its format and hours in the store. The majority of the supervisors, support managers, department managers step down from their positions, The assistant managers and co-managers are demoted at the dropped of a dime. In the evaluation, Walmart failed the managers/supports/ assistant managers/supervisors in the area they do not INSPIRE their associates. Walmart and CEO Doug Mcmillon do not INSPIRE their employees. This company will HIRE 150,000 more employees to Devalue and expose to COVID-19. You call this company and CEO responsible.

Walmart has gone straight to the heart of the matter and the associate’s pockets. Solid Performance year after year doesn’t mean an associate is safe. The needle did not move. Walmart loves to create its own rules. Walmart does not make laws. How many times are management called out by policy flaws? The next time an associate is called to the assistant manager’s office the conversation can go like this. Walmart is hiring 150,000 new associates and I see you have not made any improvement in the last three years. How do you think this scenero will play out? Oh Wow! What happens to the associates with 3 Need Improvement in their evaluations? Need Improvement is the 3 strikes you are out of the program/job. So to all of the associates push back on your intentional negative evaluations. The law will look at age, race, gender, pay discrimination, and retaliation. Weaponizing the evaluation=wage suppression. Walmart is looking at another way to target certain employees to fire.
What has Walmart done for their associates other than risk the associate’s mental/emotional, physical health, and now the associate’s life? You will not get a copy of your evaluation unless you sign it or make a comment to acknowledge it. Don’t fret, something will go wrong with the machine and you will never see that evaluation. Walmart is very strategic at telling the associates BS and getting the associates to sign their life away. Walmart is ILLEGAL EAGLES.

Who created the mental madness for the overworked, exhausted, abused and punished employees? Walmart along with CEO Doug McMillon got some hell-a-fie PR. The real truth has revealed itself. Death brings out the Best or the Beast. Death doesn’t care if you are the 1% or have no cents. There are no pockets in a shroud. Death does not discriminate. Death waits in line to participate. Walmart decided to inflict pain, humiliation, hurt, shame, and wage suppression by weaponizing the evaluations. Customer Service Managers (CSMs) were devastated. Coach, Sandy Harrison played a big part in evaluating the front end. Sandy arrived from another store around September 2019. Harrison has been at store 2857 for a short period of time. The CSMs felt Coach Sandy had not been at Walmart long enough to evaluate the supervisors. I totally agree. I got an F also. Now you know what happens when you do not buy into Walmart draconian system. You can use the open door for grievances. Employee’s lives are on the line. The new method of open-door policy should extend to News Media, Advocates, and attorneys. A directory of resources is coming to a theater near you.
Sandy Harrison never worked one day overnight. My shift is 10:00 pm-7:00 am. I have no coaching on my record. The other associates say they have no coachings. I don’t remember having any conversation with Sandy Harrison about my job performance. We talk. Sandy Harrison works morning and mid shifts. How can you evaluate a person without working their shift or knowing how the overnight shift is operated? Whew! There are managers who spirits are broken by demotion from Walmart. There are managers who have an axe to grind. There are managers who are very new to the company. Who do you have to evaluate the associates objectively? I thought it was horrible that Assistant Manager Sam was the bearer of bad news. Facial recognition speaks volumes. Sam had the butterfly over his mouth. I sat across from Sam feeling like Clarice. There sat Anthony Hopkins, Hannibal Lector eating my brains.
I went on my Star Trek journey. I went where no associates have gone before. I landed in the movie Wrong Turn. I talked to Clive Owen from the movie Derailed. I had lunch with Matt Damon and Don Cheadle. Don looked at me and said you are the star of the movie Crash. Bottom line, If Store Manager, Philip Shelton got and F you best believe the majority of the store associates would get an F also. Would it get reversed by the Walmart Ethics committee? CSM Rodney is the expert in this conversation. He needs to be heard by Regional Manager Steve and HR Dana. Hunger Games Begin. What! Regional Manager Steve is leaving too. Hmmm! CSM Rodney make sure you get hold of Dana or Steve before Walmart take out yet another market team.

My mind is in maximum overdrive processing movies totally different. CEO Doug McMillon, the advisor to the man with no name became the star of Sleeping With The Enemy. Death had no name. My lens process the man without a name as Meet Joe Black. Joe Black’s late start on COVID-19 cost many lives in this country. Was this an act of intentional behavior against New York, California, Louisiana, Chicago, Florida, and any area that is low income, no income, and race-related. Walmart needs to Rethink its operations. Close their stores especially at 2857 in Kansas City Mo. Focus on the weakest part of the store which always has been the grocery side due to lack of help. The award goes to Costco for the video on keeping their customers and associates safe during COVID-19 Pandemic. Costco did not take back returns and Walmart did. Walmart and CEO Doug McMillon need to takes lessons. We lost several associates to Costco. Why? Costco has a reputation for caring and treating their associates with dignity and respect. Train the frontline of (cashiers, CSMS) to do grocery picks. Use the conveyor belts on the registers to help push the grocery orders through at a faster rate. Keep this format to boost online groceries (OGP) and stock the grocery side until this Pandemic is lifted. Kill the 6:00 am bum rush in the store. The great stampede has struck fear in the hearts of all the employees at Walmart store 2857 Boardwalk Square. It would keep the CSM safe from the money in the filthy cash office with no ventilation. CSMs and other members of management would have little to no contact with customers because of closing registers, self-checkouts, and stores.
Stores in the Kansas City area shut down at midnight before COVID-19. The store north of the river on Boardwalk Square was overwhelmed with customers. We could not provide the appropriate customer service before COVID-19. The store was not properly staffed. The schedules cut hours at the front end. Our shelves were not properly stocked. Our store has several violations. The store was contaminated before COVID-19. Regional and district managers were constantly in the store. The Store Manager, Phillip Shelton, and other members of management were warned to get the store in compliance. Walmart’s system of One Best Way is Not the Best Way. My Way or the Highway cannot be the attitude or position taken with COVID-19_Walmart. Walmart made policy changes. Not Willingly!
Thank you, Steve (Regional) and Dana(HR), for hearing me out. I give credit where credit is due. I have struggled with the Home Office throughout the years in this store. I have stated Home Office is not my friend nor my Homie due to a lack of trust. Kent Gurkie, District Manager, Mike Gray (RIP), District Manager along with his sidekick Connie Freeman were good people. They engaged the associates and made changes in the store. Hear me out once again. Walmart took out a whole market team in one swoop. Good People! The Predator has Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Glover Pissed. It’s hard to gain trust watching Walmart takedown decent people. Every time Steve (Regional) and Dana(HR) entered the store they have always treated me with respect.
Steve (Regional) and Dana(HR), I was very disappointed with the way the front end and other employees throughout the store have been treated. It was hard to catch Store Manager Philip Shelton. I didn’t know if he had gone on vacation, in meetings, or doing his daily store walks with other members of management. I didn’t know his hours. Other store manager’s hours were much early than Philip Shelton. I notice something.
Today, I want the associates and other members of management to look at the store receipt. Do you see the entire name of the store manager? If it is there he just placed it there. One of my neighbors was kind enough to pick some milk up from the store. As of 4/17/2020, Philip Shelton’s name is not on the receipt from my purchase. I did not want to leave the store without asking Philip Shelton why did he remove his last name from the store receipt. As of 4/20/2020, Philip Shelton’s name is not on the receipt. Since Philip Shelton is leaving I guess there is no reason for his name to be on the receipt.
I went out sick on 3/24/2020. Philip Shelton’s name has been missing for quite a while. Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? Joey Richie told me many years ago he was proud to have his name on the receipt. Joey stated, whatever happens, Joey Richy could hold his own and take responsibility and be held accountable. During that time Joey Richie was the right person and the right hire for this store. Joey Richie was proud of the associates and his achievements at store 2857. Store Manager Joey Richie did an excellent job. When Joey Richie and Co-Manager Brent got wind of a visit from Regional they would bring a set of clothes and spend the night at Walmart to be prepared for their visit in the morning. Philip Shelton will be exiting Walmart store at 2857 and will continue his journey at another store in Texas. Have a safe journey, Philip Shelton. Not one of the managers listed below ever removed their name: Martha Blood, Joey Richie, Jerry Reed, Scott Snow, Michael Hunter, Randall Addison, Mark Hoyt, and George whose name I can’t recall right now. I will come back to his name. Did you notice there was only one woman store manager mentioned? Walmart is notorious for gender, pay, and promotion. I remember a store manager informing a customer not to call him by his first name. They made it clear no first-name basis. Whew! Notice we didn’t have but one woman name on the list. I didn’t want to leave the associates and other members of management in the hands of a Store Manager who didn’t take responsibility for the store or doesn’t care. Don’t you think the customers deserve the right to know his name? One of Walmart’s famous principle is Lead by Example. COVID-19 is running its campaign. The 1% is far from perfect and will not escape to Gattaca. In the movie, Gattaca, people had to be genetically perfect to go into space. Ethen Hawke, Uma Thurman, Jude Law reassures me, CEO Doug McMillon will not go to outer space. CEO of Walmart missed critical opportunities. He failed to fix his country. Judd’s teleconference with Ru Paul ended with Ru Paul telling CEO Doug McMillon, “Don’t F*ck It Up.” Too late! Matt Damon, who starred in the movie Elysium, said Walmart CEO McMillon shall remain on earth with the poor and 65 +. Jodie Foster, first lady president in outer space, stated Walmart Inc. nor CEO McMillon won’t be allowed to breathe Elysium’s air. Although- McMillon has money, Doug will always be viewed as a second class citizen and cart pusher. Michael Bloomberg views CEO Doug McMillon as a man with no Spaceballs. This is not West World but this is CEO Doug McMillon’s salary.

Where are the Walmart Employees guard shields for their registers, masks, and hand sanitizers? Okay! Guarde shields are finally up. These associates need the appropriate cleaners and approved cleaners to wipe down their areas. Concentrate on the employee’s lives instead of cleaning the d**n floor. Maintenance is so understaffed. The machines are always broken down. The machine in the cash office is a death trap, without any ventilation and no one ever has done any maintenance to its floors. What good was painting the door to the cash office? Get some ventilation in there are pull the door off. Man!
The lives of all Walmart employees are at risk. I’m sitting here reading about the 2 Walmart workers who worked at the same store passed away from COVID-19 in Evergreen Park in Chicago. How long has Walmart and every person in retail industries, banks, etc have known about COVID-19? Many of the Associates at store 2857 Boardwalk Square in Kansas City Mo. were told that big/massive changes would be taking place in April. Strange, that information was discussed around the store in mid or late December.
Walmart could not plan for success to get ahead of the virus. Walmart and CEO Doug McMillon did not serve our customers and drive customer experience. Why? Our store was dirty and had many customers complaints along with store violations before COVID-19 struck. A Now Hiring sign resides at the front entrance. Help was needed over on the grocery side. The grocery was never properly stocked for lack of associates. Walmart has the money to contract for a professional cleaning and floor crew. Old associates will be overworked and new associates will not stay. The new associates did not sign up to be pulled in a thousand different directions.
Work felt like punishment. Associates started calling in. They wanted to transfer out of the store. Transfers were blocked by Phillip Shelton, the store manager. This was before COVID-19. Now the associates in great fear of their lives want out.”Lives Do Matter”. Walmart and CEO Doug McMillon PR staff need to email Walmart INC. and let them know they are no longer in charge. Death has taken the reigns. Death has come off its intermittent leave of absence. There will be no Time Adjustments. Walmart was never in charge. The BODY COUNT will rise due to Income Tax Checks and Stimulus checks. Customers overcrowding the store and not keeping their distance once again will endanger the lives of the Employees. SHUT THE STORE DOWN!
Once again March appears to be the month for destruction and disruption. Walmart is behind the times of Netflix. Evaluations were weaponized to take the associates down to a new low. Wage suppression, pay discrimination has knocked on the door of Store 2857 at Boardwalk Square. Along comes age discrimination, race discrimination, entering through the side entrance. The bullying and harassment pimped a new style in the form of shaming members of management and associates to risk their lives for a company that has never given a d**n about the physical health or mental health of the associates. What did Netflix do with their evals?
1.) Shaming members of management and associates to come to work when they are sick. Now that COVID-19 has struck Walmart, Walmart is trying to change its tune. Before COVID-19 Walmart did not operate this way. Behind the scenes, Walmart is still shaming members for not coming to work. Visit abetterbalance.org. 2.) Shaming associates to work overtime and in return stripping the time they have put in. Overtime doesn’t pay off. This was before COVID-19.
3.) Shaming members of management of a poor job of how the store looks. There is a Now Hiring sign on the door. Where is the Beef? Where are the employees?
Associates who chose to stay and work for Walmart for years or now older. The opportunity to retire will not happen. Forced out of your job comes next. Now you can lose your life. I have always told many of the associates if it’s not life-threatening don’t fear. Death is not an open-door policy. Death is not negotiable. Death forces you out of life. Walmart Corporation and Ceo Doug McMillon have taken their employees down to the lowest point of their life. Death Takes A Holiday will not happen at Walmart.
Walmarts greatest achievement is destroying the mental health of the associates so there is no oxygen in the room to hear their voices. Associates were never given the 5Ps. 1.) Praise employees regularly. 2.) Prioritizes employee’s health and wellness. 3.) Put yourself in the employee’s shoes (empathy). 4.) Pay employees what they are worth. Do Not Have them pay with their lives. 5.) Provide growth and development. No love is given.
What is truly sad is most employees are told or feel forced to sign an evaluation they disagree with. Associates feel compelled to sign. If the evaluation is not acknowledged you can not get a copy. Unbelievable! The majority of Supervisors, Department Managers, Support Managers Assistant Managers, Co-Managers, Store Managers have either been demoted or they step down from their positions. Why? When Walmart fails the employees fail.
Walmart is big on demoting, demeaning, and stomping on women’s self-esteem. Walmart pays women far less than they pay men. Walmart is at the top of its game on gender discrimination. I recall a conversation with Coach Sandy Harrison. I asked Coach what was her rank. Was her position like a Co-manager? Coach Sandy Harrison said, “I’m just nothing but a glorified assistant manager”. Just a what! What the hell! It was devastating to hear Sandy Harrison say those words. In my nineteen years at Walmart, I have heard those words over and over. I closed my eyes tight. My gasoline drawers turned me into a flame thrower. Whew! Writing about it piss me off! All women working for Walmart Inc. fighting for equality did not lose the battle only the lawsuit of Walmart v Dukes, 564 U.S. 388 (2011) the United States Supreme Court Case. Women will not buckle but continue to fight for their rights.
Throughout my years I witness Walmart’s cruelty, arrogance, selfishness, non-caring, narcissism, backstabbing, betrayal, not taking responsibility, shaming/blaming. Who does this sound like? Mirror image to Meet Joe Black. Who is the Advisor who missed opportunities for putting the country back together? I witness associates/members of management stressed to the max. Employees medicating themselves just to get through the night. The tears never stop flowing. I couldn’t help but notice associates who said they didn’t drink but started drinking. Liquor and cigarettes replaced eggs and pancakes. Associates turn themselves into a human chimney. I couldn’t believe the packs of cigarettes they purchased.
Walmart is terrible for women’s self-esteem. Walmart wants its employees to fall in line, do Walmarts bidding, and go along with Sh*t Hole Decisions that never work. Walmart, CEO Doug McMillon and the rest of the Hateful 8 shouldn’t tangle with Jango. I can hear Samuel Jackson now, “What The F*ck. Get your popcorn ready and check those movies out on Apple TV and Netflix. Stay in and watch movies, play games, do Tik-Tok, and stay safe.
Here’s that famous scene from The Exorcist. My head spun around and I started to piss on the carpet. We were short on maintenance and Mary was having a rough night. The wet mop machine to clean the floor was down as usual. We didn’t need two pissy associates on the floor. My face couldn’t turn any color with me being luscious dark chocolate. I started to throw my wig on the floor but I had just bought it. The floors were really dirty. Whew! Human hair is expensive.
Sandy Harrison did what she was told, instead of making the right decision. Walmart is very divisive. You have to be very careful about doing other peoples’ bidding. What happens when that person leaves? Who gets stuck with the blame? Walmart does not want any women associates to put their heads together with a class-action lawsuit. Discrimination in the areas of age, race, gender, sexism, wage suppression, retention, hiring, promotion, retaliation, harassment is Walmart’s way of putting women on the role back wall to clear women out. Sandy Harrison should have worked at least one month overnight. Harrison would realize Walmarts One Best Way does not work. Overnight is different from the day shift. The entire shift of overnight is understaffed. Walmart’s attendance policy failed under COVID-19. The attendance policy failed way before COVID-19.

Who is out every day talking about the changing trends in Walmarts and all they are doing for their employees. Who is the advisor to I have Complete Authority? Right! Walmart’s and CEO Doug McMillon leads by example. Same Players, Same Lies, Same Playbook, Same ideas of opening up the economy trending on a different day.

Walmart plans to hire 50,000 more associates as of Friday, April 17th. Walmart’s total comes to a whopping 150,000 more part-time and temporary workers. Walmart is 6 weeks ahead of schedule. Wow! We have entered the movie Death Race. No matter how many associates are hired by Walmart COVID-19 will take the lead. Will Walmart be held accountable for 150,000 more lives? This world is not Walmart’s World.
